james_nicoll wasn't wrong: the Sheriff sure likes chewing the scenery. ...And he's not the only one. Also, I'm hoping that by the end of the episode I'll figure out which female is Maid Marion and who on earth the other one is.(3)
On the plus side, it's totally better than Supernatural.(1)
In other news, I went back to work today and it didn't suck, even when They asked if I could stay on the desk "a bit longer" and didn't come back for forty minutes.

(3) Marion is the girl who fails to plan for her enemies to have a basic grasp of the optical sciences. Still no idea who the other one is, so I shall dub her Onawg: "Obligatory New Age Woo-woo Girl".

And there's going to be a thind season I believe. Double ouch.
Yes because I am always intensely interesyed in various different literary and filmic versions of the Robon Hood legend (because of a book-beginning I might decide to take further) I continue to watch it. It's a bit like picking a scab. Horrible, but compelling on a level so basic you don't want to acknowledge it.
