There was, predictably, nowhere near enough Amy (it's hard to get enough Amy but obviously they didn't even try) but other than that, and ignoring That One Line, it was rather fun - fantastic pastiche, decent original story, and fun rollicking times holding it together. (I know!) I especially liked the girl. The woman was pretty awesome, but women are allowed to be awesome when they're defending their kids; the girl got to be clever and sarcastic and right without any such mitigating circumstances. On the other hand she's still a girl so that's not too threatening and/because she's got time to grow out of it.

(That One Line was, of course, the one in which the Doctor cannot conceive of any possible sense in which a given woman could be considered stronger than him than the fact that she has a fertile uterus. Lol Doctor no whut seriously.)
