zeborahToday Boots tried something else to get my attention and convince me to feed her.
From the armchair from which she normally threatens to jump onto my electronics, today she turned the other direction and leapt about a metre and a half almost straight up onto the top of the door. Then tried to figure out where to go next.
One second after this photo, the books did their domino thing, and Boots retreated to the relative (but still dubious) stability of the door. I went and held it steady until she figured out how to get down again; this involved a number of one-pawed "How about-- Eek, no!" attempts, and eventually a certain amount of vertical sliding.
Once I'd finished laughing hysterically I came to post to my LJ. It'd be downright foolish to reward that with food. If she comes over and scratches at her scratchy-post, sure, but at the moment she's sitting on a dining room chair getting fur on it and sulking.
